Frame Shop Through the Years
I'm recycling this post. It's an oldie but goodie!
In cleaning, I found a few gems. I think this is a great visual of the progression of the last 40+ years of the frame shop. Starting with John Teager starting a side business out of his home - notice the Brentwood Terrace address at the top.Then... purchasing a house at 506 South 9th Street. Then... adding on to the building 1975.
John Teager sold the business to Dennis and Phyllis Smeins and more business cards resulted. I found all of this sorting through the stacks of papers left behind by the Smeins.
And so on and so forth! What the future holds, no one knows, but it's been a fun ride so far!
