Shiplap Walls Here We Come!
Last year, over the 4th of July weekend I had my brother come and help me make more progress on the building. The above pictures show where we ended but there was a lot of work beforehand!
There was carpet on the walls... yes carpet, that hid plywood. The plywood allows me to hang anything, anywhere - no studs needed in this place! So what do I cover the plywood now that I've ripped off all the carpet? A little shiplap never hurt anyone. If you've never watched HGTV's Fixer Upper, you may never have heard of shiplap. We pulled off a faux version.
I even got a little air gun action!
Finally the walls are done, and 4th of July weekend was over. It wasn't much of a vacation, but look at all the progress!
